and I think the driver happily often pocketed the fare as the company had no record of it. We did have some frequent problems with the shuttle back to the Airport not showing up in a timely way, so we would never pay for it in advance and would just hop on whatever company showed up at our hotel first- they always had spare seats it seems. I guess only you would know if it is worth the price for you -to get the upgraded service. It only leaves about once an hour in non rush times however. We now take the WAX bus from LAS to Downtown- it costs $2 pp and makes the trip in about 25 minutes making only a few stops enroute ( most of the trip is on the Expressway) and it lets out at the Walgreens Drugs practically across the street from Fremont. They did put us in a limo at the same fare once when we were the only shuttle passengers. Maybe at the higher fare that would not happen. Ther eis not generally much business at LAS for shuttles Downtown- some companies send you over to a competitor as it is not worth their while to make the trip with only a few passengers. I wonder if they would do that with the VIP as well- I have no idea. We used to use the regular Bell shuttle to go downtown, but often we had to wait 30 minutes or so till they felt they had sufficient passengers to make the trip.
